6 Month Well Check

So, we made a recent trip to the doctor for Taryn's 6 month well check and she's doing great! Her doctor said that she is right on track and developing as she should be. She has stayed in the 75th percentile, so a little bigger than average, but she's our "little" girl. She weighs 16lbs and 15oz and is 26 1/4" long. She had to get 6 shots this time, which hurt me as much if not more than her, but she did great...I was so proud of her. She started crying on the 3rd one, but as soon as they were done she was fine...she started kicking and laughing and it was like nothing had even happened...she really is a great baby! To my amazement, I was told that she will probably be crawling within a month...YIKES!!! a mobile child, but we are really looking forward to it...everyday really is so full of changes and developments.

6 month portraits

I took Taryn to Sears this past Saturday to have her 6 month portraits taken and she had a blast! She loved the camera and really liked showing off her new skill of sitting up...of course she had to roll over a bunch too, just to show off! She's just an amazing and wonderful little girl...

Christmas

Christmas was such a joy this year! We celebrated with both our families and really had a wonderful time with Taryn. She did really good, considering all the late nights she had. Too bad she had no idea what was going on...lol, but next year will be a different story.

5 Months

Taryn is really getting good at sitting up (with our help) she can't quite get herself to a sitting position on her own, but she's trying really hard. She loves blowing bubbles and "talks" all the time, a truly happy and wiggly little girl. She rolls over all the time and can manage to move around, but not crawling just yet. She has started eating food and likes to sample what mommy's having for dinner too...:). She is changing and growing so quickly...but of course we were warned this would happen!

A Look Back...from 8 weeks to 4 months old

6 Months Already...

How fast the time flies...how true those words really are...Brad and I decided to start a family over 2 1/2 years ago and our world was blessed with a beautiful baby girl 6 months ago. 6 months ago! How much has changed is such a short, but long space of time. I decided just recently that I needed a better way of showing the world how quickly things change, so I figured I would give this blogging thing a try...we'll see how it works out. In the mean time, bear with me, and hopefully this will be a good experience for all to enjoy!
